JK Lakshmi Cement launches plant in Motibhoyan (Gujarat)
With a view to further strengthening its foot steps in Gujarat, JK Lakshmi cement has launched a cement plant in Motibhoyan near Ahmedabad (Gujarat). With a production capacity of 0.6 million tones the plant will supplement the existing plant of the company in Sirohi (Rajasthan).
JK Lakshmi Cement has been a proud partner in the development of vibrant Gujarat for the last 27 years. With the new plant, the company will play a major role in infrastructural growth of emerging Gujarat.
Along with the commitment of Mazbooti Guaranteed, the company has also launched its “Mazboot Service Guaranteed Program, a unique concept introduces in the cement industry for the first time, which assures the customers a host of benefits.
The launch took place with a lot of fanfare with Mr. Om Puri, company’s brand ambassador present on the occasion along with Mrs. Vinita Singhania (MD), Mr. S. Chouksey (WTD), Mr. S.K. Wali (WTD).

Founders Day
The birth anniversary of our founder Lala Kamlapat Singhania
is celebrated with great fervour at JK Lakshmi Cement
Limited in the month of November every year. This is an
occasion when all members of the JK Lakshmi organisation
get together to express their respect and remembrance
towards the founding father, who set an excellent base
for the JK Lakshmi group of companies that are leaders
in their respective domains. On the Founders Day, exceptional
performance of employees is awarded, and everyone gets
a chance to demonstrate special skills such as singing,
dancing and dramatics.

Social Welfare Events
Under the Naya Savera programme that was launched by the company in July 2004, families of masons and the villagers around the JK Lakshmi Manufacturing sites are provided family planning and other health related information. Mobile visits are arranged to the village homes where registered health professionals advise the villagers on various health related issues such as birth-control, food and hygiene.
Medical Camps
JK Lakshmi Cement Limited frequently sets up medical camps for the benefit of the physically challenged. As part of these camps, the patients receive free medical help from qualified doctors and appropriate supportive equipment are also distributed. The facilities of free eye operations and post-operative treatment are also provided to eye patients as per their requirement.
